I have been getting right into Arrested Development. Yes, the show has been around a long time and it’s not even being made anymore; but over here in Australia the show is only available on shitty Pay TV. I dont have Pay TV. It’s too expensive. It plays the same shit over and over again. At least, these are the reasons I agree with my wife. Fact is, she won’t let me have it. I get shouted down as soon as I mention Pay TV. Bitch.

Anyhoo, I have always been keen to watch Arrested Development and we have been borrowing the DVD’s from my local Blockbuster. We moved on to Arrested Development after we finished watching all available seasons of Scrubs and Entourage. Those two shows are fucking awesome, Entourage especially. Arrested Development was the next logical step (or maybe 30 Rock). Arrested Development is hilarious! The first season took a while to actually reach some funny points, but series 2 is where it really picked up. Who would’ve thought that Jason Bateman could be so funny? Most of you younger generation are probably thinking “Why wouldn’t he be funny?” Well, I can answer that with 3 simple words: Teen Wolf Too.

Teen Wolf Too was the sequel to the very successful Teen Wolf, where Michael J Fox (RIP (he is dead, isn’t he?)) turned into a werewolf. This was at the peak of his career. It was about the same time as Back to The Future, but well before Doc Hollywood. Jason Bateman was cast in Teen Wolf too. It flopped and so did Bateman’s career, along with his sister. I bet you youngens are getting more confused. Jason’s sister, Justine Bateman, was actually in Family Ties with Michael J Fox and was a bigger star than Jason. How warped is this getting for you? Now Justine makes a guest appearance in her brother’s show and Jason is now the bigger star than Justine and Michael J Fox. Also, Justine had Michael J Fox’s kid in real life. Get this, they called him JASON!! OK, that last bit I made up, but the rest is true.

Just watch Arrested Development. It’s better than Family Ties. Now, that’s a tag line they should have used.
